Caroline Le Mestre | Director

Caroline co-leads GoodCorporation’s operations in France and is based in our Paris office.

She is an international human rights lawyer and has been involved in various advisory assignments in business ethics and human rights for major organisations headquartered both in France and abroad, and their affiliates worldwide.

Caroline has worked in a wide range of sectors including oil & gas, construction, manufacturing, food and beverage and agricultural industries. She has conducted labour rights assessments and worked with clients to identify salient human rights issues in line with the UN Guiding Principles.

Before joining GoodCorporation, Caroline worked at Deloitte Sustainability Services and has also worked as legal counsel in Total’s human rights department. In this role she was involved in the human rights impact assessments of the company’s activities, in particular projects located in sensitive areas and high-risk jurisdictions. She was also instrumental in the implementation of Total’s strategic human rights roadmap.

Caroline graduated from the University Panthéon-Assas Paris II. She speaks French and English.
