Expert led ESG training for board members and directors

Increasing legislation, stakeholder expectations and societal pressure have led many boards andā€Æsenior leadership teams to begin considering how best to manage and develop their oversight of ESG issues.ā€ÆTo aid organisationsĀ in this,ā€ÆGoodCorporation offers personalised, expert-ledā€Æboard training sessions on the essentials of ESG in business. These sessions willā€Æprovideā€Ævaluable,ā€Ætailor-made insights into how best to maximiseā€Ætheā€Ævalue ofā€ÆESG opportunitiesā€Æwhilstā€Ænavigating the challengesā€ÆESG issues canā€Æpresent.Ā

Why is ESG training for boards necessary?

Businesses today increasingly face both opportunities and challenges linked to emergingā€Æenvironmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues. Whilst ESG considerations have become embedded in companies of all sizes and across all industries, it is the board that is increasingly being heldā€Æaccountableā€Æfor managing these issues.ā€‹Ā

Given recent regulatory changes, such as the introduction of the Corporate Sustainability Dueā€ÆDiligence Directive, robust governance of an organisation's material ESG issues is becoming a priority. For board members, it is essential to remain well-informed and up to date on theirā€Æcompany's ESG-related issues and activities, not only to provide effective oversight ofā€Æstrategy and risk management, but also to ensure that the company can meet the rapidly changingā€Æexpectations of investors, markets, and regulators.Ā
