AI ethics consulting
Artificial intelligence (AI) systems and tools are become an integral part of daily life and business operations. Many organisations are incorporating AI within their processes – from recruitment screening to supply chain management and content generation.
The use of AI systems presents a wide range of ethical challenges for businesses including potential human rights violations, privacy and data protection concerns and issues related to accuracy, accountability and bias.
Many organisations lack confidence in managing their use of AI systems and the potential risks. Companies are also uncertain about the extent to which, and for what purpose, their employees are using AI systems.
Some organisations are also within the scope of the EU AI Act (and other national legislation) and now need to take steps to ensure legislative compliance.

What we do
GoodCorporation supports companies with their governance, monitoring and mitigation of the ethical challenges that AI presents.
We address AI use from an ethical lens, drawing on our extensive business ethics expertise, our established methodologies and our experience of engaging with a range of stakeholders to ensure that AI risks are identified and adequately addressed.
We help companies to establish oversight and proactive management of AI system development and use.
Our services
Responsible AI use policy development
GoodCorporation can support organisations in developing a tailored policy which sets out a company’s positioning and expectations regarding responsible AI use. A standalone AI policy communicates an organisation’s ethical values and sets out its expectations regarding its employees use of AI tools or systems.
Legislative gap analysis
Companies in scope of the EU AI Act or national legislation must now take steps to comply. GoodCorporation can help companies to assess the adequacy of their AI management programme by grading their policies and practices against the requirements of these legislative frameworks and identifying any gaps which need filling.
AI use survey
A key step for organisations in assessing where their AI risks lie is understanding how AI is used across their company and for what purposes. GoodCorporation offers a self-assessment questionnaire designed to gather data efficiently from an organisation’s stakeholders (this may include operational departments, suppliers and other third parties) to understand how AI is used, the issues and concerns, and the need for future training and guidance.
AI risk assessments
The use of AI systems poses ethical risks that companies must identify and mitigate against (this is a key requirement of the EU AI Act and other national AI legislation). GoodCorporation uses its established methodology to conduct AI risk assessments for companies. Assessing AI risks may form part of a broader human rights or anti-corruption risk assessment, but we also offer a standalone deep-dive human rights AI risk assessment. This is ideal for companies using AI systems considered as high risk, such as credit scoring and performance evaluation.
Training and communication
It is vital that employees who use AI are empowered and informed to do this responsibly in line with their companies’ expectations (and AI policy if relevant ). GoodCorporation offers a range of training services (which can be delivered for all employees or tailored to specific functions and the risks they face), which promote transparent discussion around AI use, as well as unpacking the risks and the key considerations that employees should be aware of when using AI in their business activities.
Ethical AI governance assessment
GoodCorporation can assess the adequacy of a company’s AI management programme and the effectiveness of the measures in place to address AI risks. An ethical governance assessment can be used for board reporting, internal assurances, external reporting and as evidence of compliance with AI legislation. We conduct these assessments using our Artificial Intelligence Governance Framework (see below).

Artificial Intelligence Governance Framework
The GoodCorporation Artificial Intelligence Governance Framework is a set of responsible business practices that can be used to improve the robustness of an organisation’s governance of its AI systems.
The framework covers the key forms of ethical AI management: governance, including technical governance, risk identification and impact assessment, mitigation measures, grievance mechanism, monitoring and review and communication and training.
GoodCorporation uses this framework to conduct ethical AI governance assessments, to guide AI policy development and as a basis for our AI risk assessments.
Our framework is aligned with ISO 42001.
